Are they going to remake Halloween III?
I just looked and I was just curious. Also why not have Michael Meyers in it at all? I thought it was completely silly (:

After Michael Myers died at the end of Halloween II (1981), John Carpenter's plan was to make a new "Halloween" movie of each year, telling a different story related Halloween. After this movie badly at the box office, the filmmakers decided to take Michael back to life for future sequels. So that's why the film was made sans Michael Myers. I do not think they ever remake because it bombed so badly.
