I think I want to start collecting a town of Halloween and I need suggestions ...?
What are the companies that make Halloween Villages collection? I saw Spooky Town, Halloween Snow Village by Department 56, Hawthorne and collectibles, is there more? Are these different people about on the same scale so you can make some pieces from each collection? Are there any good websites to show ideas?
Spooky Town Lemax, Department 56, Hawthorne are great. Wal-Mart has a Christmas village, objective does too, but not sure which manufacturer (probably Lemax). The villages are near the same scale, but probably not exactly. Personally, I avoid Lemax simply because of all the noise (and yes, I know you can turn off the audio). I know that among the peoples of Christmas Snow Village D56 which is on a larger scale than other people. Lemax I have used parts in my whole NBC Hawthorne, specifically paved roads, trees, Some street lights, etc., without problems of scale. As for websites, I suggest you look for message boards or chat rooms, or looking at pictures of the screens of others. Most of what they were selling could easily find DVDs and videotapes of yourself.
