I’m looking for a specific song…I heard it many years ago…I’d say around 10-12, and don’t know the artist or the song title, or even the full set of lyrics. I’ll share what lyrics I DO remember, they are the ones that start it off. The song is about a woman whom invites a stranger into her home on Halloween, and they make love. He leaves in the morning, and it turns out it’s a ghost. Here’s the lyrics that start it off:
All Hallow’s Eve,
A moonlit night,
On Samhain when the veil is thin
Between the worlds of Dark and Light,
Dare you let a stranger in?
It’s sung in a folk-style, with little instrumentals and the woman singing it isn’t really trying. It sounds like a soft crooning, like something you’d expect your grandmother to sing while she’s folding laundry. She draws out the words “Eve”, “veil”, “is”, “thin”, “stranger” and “in”.
If you have any clues that will help, I’d really appriciate it!!
On Halloween nights many people dress up in different Halloween costumes in order to scare each other. One of the often used costumes is a ghost costume. Adults and children like to wear this costume at this festival. Many people find it rather funny and amusing.
A traditional and usual skeleton costume consists of a black jumpsuit and skeleton bones painted onto it. But there are also costumes where bones are not painted but attached to the costume and make it look more realistic. A good ghost costume includes a pair of gloves, a pair of boots and a mask. The skeleton mask should be a full cover one resembling a skull. And moreover all the bones glow in the darkness of the night because they are fluorescent. That is why such a ghost costume looks very creepy.
It is a quite amusing sight looking at a dancing or running about man who is wearing a skeleton costume. You will have great find it rather funny being chased by some of those skeletons. Classic ghost costumes are bone white, but there are such costumes in many other colors: orange, green, purple, yellow and others. They don’t look more realistic but they look more unusual and funny.
On Halloween night dressed up people have fun not from being someone but from acting like someone. At this festival the greatest pleasure is to put terror into every visitor and the paradox is that everything is done just for fun. After scaring people to death everybody bursts into laughter.
Imagine a few people wearing bone costumes hiding in the darkness and popping up in front of the approaching trick-or-treaters shouting “BOO”. Another way to give a pleasure is to stand in the dark lights with backs turned to the approaching people and when they are close face them suddenly. The only thing they will be able to see is the attached fluorescent bones glowing in the darkness. Full size skeleton appearing from the dark will horrify and appall the trick-or-treaters.
You also can make a nice illusion of splitting one skeleton into three ones. For that you need three people dressed up in these costumes. One of you has to stand behind the two others. The people approaching will see first the one in front and when they come close the two skeletons behind have to step right and left at the same time.
Not only men can disguised themselves into skeletons, ladies can do it too and appear even more enchanting. Didn’t you know that skeleton ladies like jewelry such as earrings, necklaces and bracelets? Wearing a short skirt can make a skeleton lady really stunning.
You even can make a spooky music concert. A few “skeletons” in glow-in-the-dark wigs, top hats and guitars can imitate playing some music. They can sing lullabies in a gentle voice. It will be the funniest performance you have ever seen. It also can be very unusual to have a dressed up mannequin in a ghost costume behind the driver’s seat of your car or peeping out of the window. You can also be a bit rude and put a noose around the mannequin’s neck and hang it from a tree near your house.

Wolverine is a Marvel Comics superhero. He first saw print in the 180th issue of The Incredible Hulk in October of 1974. He was created by art director John Romita Sr. and Len Wein. Wolverine subsequently joined the “All New, All Different X-Men” in May 1975. Chris Claremont, one of the X-Men comic’s most prolific writers, created much of the myths about arguably the most iconic X-Men character of all time. John Byrne also helped create Wolverine’s background story. Claremont later collaborated with Frank Miller and gave the character more depth with a series of four comics in the latter part of 1982.
Logan (legal name James Howlett) is one of Wolverine’s more well-known aliases. He is a mutant who possesses a speedy healing factor which allows him to bounce back after even the most mortal wounds. He has enhanced senses, particularly the sense of smell. He also has formidable bone claws and great physical abilities. He is even impervious to toxins or diseases, which has given him his long lifespan. He was chosen to be part of the Weapon X super-soldier project due to his healing factor, as the adamantium and bone bonding process could be fatal to normal folk. He is now very popular in and out of comics due to Hugh Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men movie series.

Wolverine’s costume has evolved through the years. His initial costume was composed of a mask, skintight overalls, and boots in yellow, with black and blue hints. It later became a black and yellow motif, which turned into brown and yellow in the early 1980s. Some of his other costumes are the half-naked Weapon X outfit, and the “civilian” leather jacket, pants, boots, and wife beater undergarment. There are also so many types of Wolverine Claws to choose from, whether in-glove or bone style.

Take off existing pictures/photographs on the wall and use the area to tape or hang your other pictures. If you must go to the store buy painter’s tape!
