Plus size Mardi Gras Costumes – Halloween 2009

Finding a plus size Halloween costume can be a hard mission, as a plus size woman I know that this “trip” after the right costume can be cause to  frustrating. Personally, I am looking for one for a long time. I know that I can found a great plus size costume online and its truth that there is a huge selection of plus size Halloween costumes but I’m looking for something ales, something deluxe, something that not look like I “wear and go” it is most important for me to look like I take my costume seriously. Finally I decide to pick one of the Mardi Gras costumes, “Fat Tuesday” costume its seem to me the right and honest costume for me.

I found that there are many Mardi Gras choices out there. Moreover, it can be hard to choose one, and finally I choose a Mardi Gras Queen costume velvet dress with multi-colored satin inlay and gold-netted sleeves. Ohh gad I look so sexy, you don’t know what is feel sexy in a plus size, and it’s so comfortable, I defiantly make the right choose. Include completing my Mardi Gras Queen costume I buy a Mardi Gras Queen mask.

Finally I buy a comfortable costume which doesn’t make me miserable it’s no to tight and I’m look great it’s so important to feel good with your costume, even if it’s only for one night.

So how I choose my costume, usually as a plus size I have some guidelines that I used every time when I going on shopping. I have 3 rules that I never break:

complimentary shape
Colors, plus size Women’s does not have to be dreary or dull.

These are my rules, Large size of body or full cut should not prevent you look good and feel great and sexy!

Ok, so ever since before I was married I loved the tootsie roll halloween costume for infants. I am just about 30 weeks pregnant but my baby will not be around for this halloween. Next year she may end up being to big for the costume because it only goes up to 9 months. I was sitting here thinking what if i would just buy one and use it as an outfit for when i get her pictures at 3 months. I like the idea and I think it would make an adorable picture of a little tootsie roll. Would a picture place have a background that a tootsie roll outfit would fit in because only her face would be sticking out of the costume? What are your thoughts on that.

I think it is a lovely idea, and yes the photographer would certainly have the correct background for the photo. Ring one up and discuss it with them and you will be sorted. Nowadays they take photos the old fashioned way and can computer generate the background.

What are some VERY clever or current couple Halloween costumes?

My friends are in it to win it every halloween. My boyfriend has never been into the couple costumes but he’s all for it this year. Talking with some of our friends they’re already hard at work on their super top secret costumes! I need some help other than the same old Batman + Cat Woman duo. John and Kate plus 8 was done a few years ago. So, yeah…something current and witty or classic and understated! Thanks in advance!
